Animation Blog Roundup

Here's a list of the animation Blogs that I read:

http://sewardstreet.com/
Fellow animator at Dreamworks. He has a good sense of what's going on in Animation.

http://manuittina.com/blog.html Another Fellow animator at Dreamworks. He is starting to put together a lot of good resources on his website.

http://cganimation.blogspot.com/ This Blog is written anonymously so that he can post his true feelings about the animation business.

http://james-baker.com/news/ Jamie Baker's Blog, this one is new to me, but it looks like it has some promise.

http://www.bitterfilms.com/forum.html Not really a blog, more of a production journal. I love Don Hertzfeldt's films, reading his journal entrys are every bit as entertaining as his films!

http://www.plymptoons.com/scrapbook/scrap092704.html Bill Plymton has some good entrys on his film making experience. His website is a great resource for indipendindent film making.

http://www.ronniedelcarmen.com/blog1/blog.html Ooo, pretty drawings.

http://pixaranimation.blogspot.com/ This is maily a Fanboy Blog about Pixar, but it does have some good news resources.

Not really blogs, but animation news resources:

http://www.cartoonbrew.com/ This is a great cartoon news source. The guys who write this often have a good eye as to what's cool about animation.

http://www.animated-news.com/ Another good news source for the business.

http://www.jimhillmedia.com/ A former Disney Animator, Jim Hill Media has good commentary about the goings on at Disney.

http://www.zayatz.com/ This isn't a Blog, or a news source, but it has a lot of good information in it for up an coming animators.

If you know of more, I'd love to hear them.

Here's another blog that keeps up on some animation program releases. It mostly has tutorials and free content for people to use in their animations.

I'm willing to bet if you check it out you'll add it to your list.
